There are times when what we do, we just save the day! Earlier this year we stumbled upon a great street of nicely kept homes, tree lined quiet street in Morganton.

This was a drug house, and the neighbors had about enough of calling the police all the time with drug deals, parties, and whatever else was happening at this house.
Apparently, the father died and gave the property over to his son, and the son neglected to take care of the property or himself and it turned into a downward spiral.

The seller was actually trying to leave town to start fresh (good idea) but this was one of those situations we look for. Worst house on the nicest block, great homes surrounding it, help the neighbors by restoring the subject home back to its original beauty, and make a profit for us. Just a win win win for all.
We agreed on a price, and off we were! During rehab, the neighbors kept coming over to let us know how much they appreciated us buying the home and we assured we would restore the home and the block back to what it was. Peaceful, great place to raise a family, etc.
Sadly, we found out the seller landed in jail on drug charges but I’m hoping they get their life back on track as well.
